Another noteworthy project for Solid Rock Constructors was the repair and renovation work we did for CBRE and American Restoration on the Wells Fargo Plaza in downtown Houston. At a height second only to the JP Morgan Chase Tower in the state of Texas, and 16th in the nation, the Wells Fargo Plaza is 992 feet tall and 71 floors. We removed the faulty existent concrete and waterproofing on the roof of this skyscraper, before bringing the demolished materials down to the ground by hand. When the demolition process was complete, and all the previous materials safely removed, we carried up new concrete and waterproofing materials to mix and install on the roof of the Plaza. Though the demolition and installation of concrete pavers and waterproofing seems relatively inconsequential in the greater context of a skyscraper like the Wells Fargo Plaza, Solid Rock Constructors understands that it is the simple and unglamorous elements of a structure that are of utmost importance and require our complete dedication and attention to detail.
